I can't stand Nicholas Cage. Mark has the oddest celebrity crushes.

I know that some of the Jin Rong wuxia novels have been adapted to manga format, and I think some of those are available in English. (It's not the same, though, and after the first couple of books you get the feeling the artist got really tired of drawing.) The other thought I had was that the novels are possibly not "literary enough" for English translation - you can find numerous translations of the Tao Te Ching (does the world really need another one?), classical Chinese poets, but you can't really find anything more "fun".

Another thing that contributes to the lack of interest is that wuxia novels often span several books of about five hundred pages. It's a lot of work to translate just one book - never mind five.
