...is up with the Japanese and incest? Why are they so obsessed with it? I'm reading Banana Yoshimoto's N.P., which is a short novel about some chick who meets a brother and a sister. The brother is having an affair with their stepsister. The stepsister slept with their biological dad and killed himself. Now they are all tortured by it and a story that the dad left behind detailing his affair with his daughter, and all the main character does is go, "Hmm...that's pretty interesting. I think I am attracted to these people."
