Yeah, I don't get it either. I am profoundly disappointed in him. He brought the word socialist back into mainstream politics, and his primary campaign in 2016 made it possible for me to talk about real left-ish politics with ordinary people like the custodian at my school, then. But this is gutless. I don't think he can walk that line -- call for Biden to force Israel to prevent civilian casualties but still say that you can't negotiate with Hamas. He defended Rashida Tlaib as "a good friend of his" but ... cannot say "Ceasefire". It makes me so sad.
