question

When someone tells you that he is "about to leave right now", do you:

a. Assume that he is about to leave right now?
b. Think that it means he is "about" to leave, meaning he's got some stuff to take care of, and it'll be a while before you see him?
c. Automatically add an hour to "right now"?

I kid because I love.

is there a choice between B & C?

iono, personally if im leaving at the moment that im saying that im leaving i say: "im leaving."

"im about to leave" = adding 10-20 minutes (for me).

LOL.
im friggin terrible.

That would make you "b", then. I'm ok with people saying they're leaving and then not coming for a while, but I'm not ok with it if they're picking me up. I hate waiting.
