Well, she's not actually saying that atheists have no morals, just that they have no direction. I think that's equally silly, though. I think the crux of Armstrong's book was that humans have an innate need to believe in something, and if they don't, they become "lost" somehow. When the book focused on the idea of God changing over history and not on opinion, I found it informative. Once she started talking about whether she thought humans actually needed God or not, it rubbed me the wrong way.
