I finished Vox on the train today. I probably shouldn't have read it on the train, especially the last part, which will make for good one-handed reading.

I'm not sure what I think of it. It's well-written, but I didn't find these characters' fantasies that enlightening or shocking or provocative. They seemed really tame to me, almost Victorian in their awe over how daring they were to talk about their very straight fantasies. The ickiness with which the female characters responded to other females in the fantasies annoyed me. It was like that one episode of Ally McBeal where she and Lucy Liu make out but they keep saying that they're missing "penis". (I only watched it because my roomie was addicted to it.)
