Article about foie gras and the losing battle to get rid of it.
Disclosure: I had foie gras exactly once, and it was one of the best things I'd ever tasted. I am also not exactly a touchy-feely person about how my meat gets killed so I have little sympathy for animal-rights activists over this stuff. I think, well, if we were actually going to enforce non-cruelty, we wouldn't EAT MEAT.
On a totally different note, I hate libertarians.
