There is no UNSUBSCRIBE link in their emails. What kind of moronic business practice is this? You mean for me to unsubscribe to a fricking newsletter I have to spend 39 cents on a stamp when every other company out there has a simple "if you want to unsubscribe to this email, please click here"?
New iPods reengineered to block synching with Linux
Why do I care, since it's not like I bought a new iPod and I know jack about Linux anyway? Because it's annoying. I have an iPod Nano, which works perfectly fine with Ubuntu right now. The Nano was purchased from somebody who got it for free. It's because I keep falling in love with Apple's shiny designs and then invariably end up getting disappointed with the actual end products. I actually have an older generation iPod - remember the iPod Mini? It was given to me as a group Christmas present from my sisters. Out of the box, the battery life was less than four hours.
