jackie chan
I don't know why, but I've been kind of obsessing over the new Jackie Chan memoir. He basically admits to being a totally gross dick, including but not limited to: throwing his then 2 year old across the room in anger, abusing alcohol, gambling, visiting prostitutes and cheating on his wife. Not mentioned in the book: his daughter is a lesbian. Who married some 19 year old Instagram influencer (?) last week. And also claimed to have been abandoned and homeless by her homophobic parents, forced to sleep under a bridge. Also not mentioned, probably: his terrible politics.
Anyway, all of this brought to mind the really old Wong Jing Die Hard parody High Risk, featuring Jet Li, and Jacky Cheung parodying Jackie Chan as "Frankie". It's a really dumb movie, but it's sooo petty. Wong Jing made this movie after doing City Hunter with Chan, and I think Chan disavowed the movie afterwards as "only ok". It, too, was a dumb movie, and didn't have a lot of great stunts. But Wong Jing is great at comedy and mashing up pop culture absurdities.
City Hunter trailer - I forgot, Wong Jing loves Street Fighter.
Why would you put the entire last half of the movie in the trailer?
