I have mixed feelings about Substack, but there are a lot of journalists on there whose work I do respect and admire. So I pay for Zeteo.

• Zeteo - substack owned by Mehdi Hasan
• Dropsitenews - substack owned by Jeremy Scahill and Ryan Grim
• The Nation
• Democracy Now
• Teen Vogue
• The American Prospect
• The Intercept (they are iffy on other things though)
• Forward - Independent Jewish news

Anti-Arab but reliable for reporting on Israel/Palestine:

• Haaretz - the most "liberal" of Israeli media but still racist
• Times of Israel

Mid-East centric reporting:

• Al-Jazeera
• 972 - run by both Palestinian and Israeli journalists
• Middle East Eye - good conversations on their YouTube channel
• Electronic Intifada
• Al Arabiya English
