How dare the Guardian cover a local artist whose been playing music in this city for eight years and self-recorded and self-released his last album which was pretty much ignored in this country until Britian's MOJO magazine discovered it and named it one of their top 40 albums of the year.
Yeah, local boy finally gets his due is a terrible story for the alt-weeklies to cover.
