beef jerky

toastykittenBeef jerky is the best. I once knew someone who said, "Beef jerky is rotten meat. It's gross." I kept on chewing. The best beef jerky, though, is home-made. I could have sworn there used to be a place in Chinatown that made beef jerky, but I think they got shut down.
My brain has shut down, too. Yesterday we watched the first episode of Quantum Leap, and I remembered just how much I loved this show. There was one unintentionally funny line uttered by Sam - "Maybe I have a thing for pregnant women" but other than that and the entirely questionable technology and medical practices, the show was good. My favorite episodes were always the ones where Sam woke up as a woman.
