How do you teach someone to think independently?

u can't.
u just pray that they do.

OR!

u can try to lead by example.
and hope that whatever diminished version of thinking independently that you paradoxically produce will be enough to satisfy ur wants :)

OR!

u can just banish them away to the wild and bring em back in a year and see what the world has done to em.

iono mang.
it seems to boil down to trusting the person to realize that thinking dependently stinks.
