Good interview between Christiane Amanpour and Josh Paul, the US arms dealer who quit his position over the US' actions in the mid-east. Very blunt on his end, which was refreshing.

Another interview with two peace activists, one Israeli and one Palestinian on the "day after". Their proposal: 2 states, one confederation....not exactly sure how that would work.

It is also Read Palestine week - there is a treasure trove of free books, both fiction and nonfiction about Palestine here available. I should mention that Haymarket also has a few ebooks about Palestine available for free.

I have not yet finished watching this, but Dr. Zachary Foster is hosting a teach-in series about Palestine, and they are putting it up on YouTube:

I started the al Jazeera five part documentary about the history of Palestine, but then my father and stepmother asked me to wait until they're out here for Xmas, so we can all watch it together. The part I watched (part 3, my brother-in-law's fault, because he'd already seen parts 1 and 2) was very, very good.

Oh, and if you would feel bolstered by a very good Brit journalist's brave stance and continued op-ed-ing and posting about Israel and Gaza, I really like Owen Jones, who writes for the Guardian and who will take no shit from anyone. He had a measured response to viewing the IDF compilation of video that was pushed on reporters, and he got blasted for that and then came back with a take down of Israeli tactics to deliberately murder civilians in Gaza.
