- Decided to stop reading Elizabeth Gilbert. Nope, just can't do it anymore.
- Watched Murderbot, featuring Alexander Skarsgard as a depressed android who hacks its "governor module" to watch sci-fi soap operas. Relatable. Anyway, it was surprisingly fun to watch, and I love that every episode is only about 30 min. I don't have that much of an attention span these days for anything longer.
- Read Murderbot Diaries Vol 1, by Martha Wells, which is basically 2 novellas. The first novella, All Systems Red, is the entirety of season 1 of the show. The novella is a bit lighter on characterization, and it's a bit difficult to tell the human characters apart. The prose is not bad, but it's not amazing, either. All in all, it's a very light, fast and action-packed read, and the show really fleshes out all the individual characters and rounds them a lot. Between the show and the books, I think I prefer the show.
- Fun thing, Martha Wells apparently didn't know how non-neurotypical she was until after she wrote the books.
