1. I've been obsessed with this freak accident and I've read multiple accounts of it, and I still can't quite picture how it happened.
2. I'm really happy Dublin has decided to unanimously vote against having the shuttered federal women's prison be repurposed as an immigration facility or other incarceration. 
3. It was the place where Felicity Huffman and Lori Laughlin served their sentences for their roles in the college admissions scandal. 
4. My congressman is running for governor of CA and apparently has decided to stop voting for the rest of his term. 
5. Bernie Sanders is the sole vote against a bill on pediatric cancer research funding in order to "hold out" for a bigger healthcare package. Last time it was removed from a larger spending bill because of Rand Paul's objections. 
6. Sutter, one of the largest healthcare systems in the Bay Area, has paused plans to end gender-affirming care after backlash from the community. 
7. Very useful tool for CA voters: CalMatters Digital Democracy where you can look up bills, legislators, agenda, etc.
