- Bernie Sanders is the sole vote against a bill on pediatric cancer research funding in order to "hold out" for a bigger healthcare package. Last time it was removed from a larger spending bill because of Rand Paul's objections.
- Sutter, one of the largest healthcare systems in the Bay Area, has paused plans to end gender-affirming care after backlash from the community.
